Fortior Solutions President and CEO Jim Robell Named Person of the Year for Platinum Level 2022 ‘ASTORS’ Homeland Security Industry Leadership & Innovation

11/22/2022 – Fortior Solutions President and CEO Jim Robell was named this year’s Person of the Year for the American Security Today (AST) Platinum level 2022 ‘ASTORS’ Homeland Security Industry Leadership & Innovation.

The prestigious award was presented at the ‘ASTORS’ awards event held in New York City at ISC East on November 16th, 2022 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center.

Mr. Robell has been an industry leader for more than 40 years. He served in the technology industry for the first two decades at Intel Corporation, moving in 2001 to the security industry at Fortior Solutions. As the top executive at Fortior Solutions, Mr. Robell has leveraged his expertise to innovate and inspire. Under his leadership, the company has developed new industry-leading products to make military, government, critical infrastructure and commercial facilities and locations safer and more secure.

Mr. Robell recently led the development of significant enhancements to the company’ state-of-the art credential verification solution, adding verifications of the broadest list of government-issued credentials. Mr. Robell also recently led the company through development of a new secure cellular modem software to support a new generation of credential verification handheld readers that can be used both at fixed points and in the field. Mr. Robell also oversaw the integration of additional government watch lists to enhance the company’s RAPID-RCx® program, and he led the development of new handheld reader compliance security features. Mr. Robell has generated two patents and two pending patents. He is heading up production of an innovative new sports and entertainment solution.

Mr. Robell’s leadership, and his numerous contributions to technology and security, have helped to transform the security industry with best-in-class tools to fight and protect against terrorism while supporting the mission to enhance homeland security and public safety.
