Katherine leads Fortior Solutions’ legal department as General Counsel and serves as the company’s Corporate Secretary. She has worked with the company since January 2003, starting as outside legal counsel and then moving in-house as General Counsel. Katherine is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/US through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Prior to joining Fortior Solutions, Katherine was a civil litigator with large law firms in San Francisco, California. She has represented companies ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies. Katherine earned her law degree from UC College of the Law San Francisco and her bachelor’s degree from UC San Diego. She is a member of the Oregon and California state bar associations (inactive in CA); the American Bar Association, Public Contracts Law Section, Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Data Protection Committee; ABA Cyberspace Law Committee; Association of Corporate Counsel; Women in Homeland Security; and the IAPP. Outside board service has included the local Association of Corporate Counsel (past president), the Pacific Northwest Defense Coalition and the Portland Citizens Crime Commission. She also is involved with the Technology Association of Oregon, of which Fortior Solutions is a member.
Amber Bond has been with Fortior Solutions for more than 13 years and is responsible for the company’s Sales, Marketing and Customer Service teams. Her experience includes working with DHS, DoD, Defense Industrial Base, Critical infrastructure and NASA customers. Amber’s key accomplishments include being a Fortior Solutions product subject matter expert, implementing Access Control and Identity Management solutions at more than 100 secure facilities including customers in Guam, Puerto Rico, and throughout the United States, establishing forecasts, proposals and quotes, managing the company’s sales pipeline and creating and implementing many of the company’s best practices. Prior to working at Fortior Solutions Amber worked for multiple start-up organizations as well as for large retailers (HP, Nike and Gap) in Customer Service and Account Management.
Erin Hang has been with the Fortior Solutions team since July 2003. Erin possesses over 17 years of proven expertise in account management and criminal history background screening. She is an identity proofing and criminal history background screening subject matter expert. Erin’s credentials include: helping the company become the first non-criminal justice entity to run NCIC/III checks on behalf of the U.S. military, she is a certified FBI Terminal Operator and Trainer, our Program Manager for our Nlets Strategic Partnership and DOJ JUST partnership, has developed numerous screening programs for our DHS and DoD customers, has stood up and managed multiple departments within the company, and managed our FBI Channeling program for more than 12 years. She is also BPATS certified under DHS, a key contributor for the companies RFP team and currently manages our Internal Account Management and Vetting team that has supported more than 150 U.S. military locations. Under her leadership, her team has provided over 5 million criminal history background checks for DHS and DoD and she is also an authorized user of DHS Chemical-terrorism Vulnerability Information.
