02/28/2022 – It has been a great start to the new year for Fortior Solutions and our customers! Our next generation handheld scanners have reached a significant milestone of more than one million scans. In the last six months alone, we have successfully upgraded 12 customer facilities to our new handheld scanners. These customers have scanned driver’s licenses from all 50 U.S. States plus Guam and Puerto Rico, Passports and Passport Cards, Common Access Cards (CAC), Transportation Worker Identification Cards (TWIC), and many other Government Issued IDs presented for entry at secure locations.
Our customers are experiencing faster than ever scan times, clocking in at less than one second per scan! A recent case study conducted at a customer site found that there was a 42% increase in throughput traffic at entry control points with our new handhelds. This means our new technology is helping our customers make faster informed decisions while simultaneously creating a frictionless, safer experience for everyone involved.
