Today, Fortior Solutions celebrates our employees and the 20 years of continuous exceptional support we’ve been providing to the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD).
In 2004, three years after the tragic events of 9/11, we partnered with our very first DoD customer, providing an access control solution that allowed them to verify access eligibility with ease, confidence and strengthened security and efficiency. More than 100 DoD customers later, we have not looked back.
As we commemorate two decades of unwavering support of the U.S. Government’s top national security agency, we reflect upon the journey that brought us to this milestone. Twenty-three years ago, Fortior Solutions started out providing access control solutions to the commercial market, specifically retail. However, in the wake of 9/11, U.S. military facilities clamored for stronger perimeter access control solutions. We had the technology to do it. We therefore pivoted from focusing solely on supporting commercial customers to also doing business with the Government.
Since then, Fortior Solutions’ access control solutions have protected some of the largest U.S. Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Joint Air Force and other military sites in the continental United States and overseas U.S. territories. We have been the only commercial provider to do what we do. We are the best at what we do, with proven capabilities and unmatched processes. Today, thanks to our successes with the military, we’re also renewing our commitment to the commercial market, supporting customers from multiple sectors ranging from oil and gas facilities, live entertainment venues, stadiums, arenas, casinos, resorts, and everything in between.
The backbone of Fortior Solutions’ success lies with our employees. We could not have reached this major milestone without them. We are grateful to our employees and the DoD for 20 years of partnership, friendship, and shared success.
